The BSc (Hons) Cyber Security and Networking top up degree is delivered online by NCC Education and is a natural progression from our Level 5 Diploma in Computing with Cyber Security. This final year is awarded by the University of Central Lancashire (abbreviated UCLan).
The programme aims to equip graduates with the knowledge, technical and interpersonal skills necessary for taking part in the design, implementation, management and security of modern computer systems. It will enable them to work as professionally minded cyber security practitioners able to meet the responsibilities and challenges demanded in the cyber security industry.
By working in partnership with CompTIA, graduates of this programme will be offered the opportunity to achieve an additional professional IT certificate in either Cyber Security (CySA+) or Cloud Infrastructure (Cloud+).

Units comprise of weekly video lectures, tutorial exercises, discussion forums and live chat sessions with subject experts. Students will have the opportunity to interact with other students from around the world.
NCC Education has partnered with Immersive Labs to offer students the opportunity to gain hands on experience in tackling cybersecurity challenges using a cloud-based platform. This will be utilised by the Module Leaders to offer a greater depth of understanding to cyber security challenges faced by organisations.
On completion of the BSc (Hons) Business Computing and Information Systems Top-up Degree, graduates are eligible to apply for postgraduate and master’s degree study at institutions across the world.
With the relevant management experience, graduates of the programme are also eligible for entry onto the Level 7 Diploma in Business Management (L7DBM) awarded by NCC Education and delivered by IT’s Britz Education, which is available face-to-face. Upon successful completion of the L7DBM, students are able to progress onto MBA and MSc qualifications.
